Dr. Rich Melheim of RICH Learning Global presented the closing keynote at the Alef Education “Future of Digital Education Summit” in Dubai March 2. His theme was titled “NeuroEducation in the Future Metaverse.” In the talk, he outlined the molecular, cellular, structural and bodily basis of optimal learning. He explained how the coming immersive nature of the haptic/holographic Metaverse will launch a new era in brain-engaged education.
Other keynoters included his excellency Dr. Ahmad Belhoul Al Falasithe, Minister of Education of the UAE, Geoffrey Alphonso, CEO of Alef, Geoffrey Canada from the Harlem Children’s Zone, former Director General of Schools in the UK Ralph Tabberer and directors of Google and AWS.
According to Dr. Rich, the price of “access to excellence” to this brave new world of education may leave hundreds of million - maybe billions - of children behind. “For the sake of the future, we must move now to partner with government leaders, NGOs and people of great hearts to provide the hardware, software, and starlinks as onramps to this superhighway to the future for every child in every corner of the planet.”
